SALARIES CONTROLLER

We are recruiting an experienced Salaries Controller to manage and administer the full payroll function for a large-scale operation. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing for both management and NEC-graded employees, maintaining strict internal controls, and overseeing all statutory obligations within Zimbabwean labor legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full processing of monthly payroll & NEC wages (200+ employees)
  • ZIMRA, NSSA, NEC Agriculture, & AIDS Levy compliance
  • Payroll reconciliation to the General Ledger
  • Maintain payroll master data & audit trails
  • Overtime analysis & headcount reporting
  • Ghost employee monitoring & internal control implementation
  • Responding to staff payroll & benefits queries
  • Assisting with annual budget preparation & cost analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ dedicated payroll experience
  • Experience with NEC graded employees (Agriculture preferred)
  • High proficiency in Belina Payroll systems
  • Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation & reporting
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Payroll Administration
  • Deep knowledge of Zimbabwe payroll & tax legislation
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak processing periods
