Our client based in Rwanda is looking for an HR Officer!

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support manpower planning with HODs and define job profiles
  • Manage recruitment process: advertising, screening, interviews, and selection
  • Handle onboarding: offers, contracts, documentation, system access, and induction
  • Monitor probation and confirmation processes

HR Systems & Administration

  • Maintain HRIS and ensure accurate employee data
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance, and leave records
  • Support employees on HR systems (URSULA, HCM) and policies

Payroll & Benefits

  • Assist in payroll processing and resolve discrepancies
  • Support benefits administration and employee queries

HR Operations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
  • Contribute to HR strategy and reporting (e.g., Eclosia Way Report)
  • Keep HR protocols and procedures up to date

Performance Management (PMS)

  • Support PMS implementation and training
  • Manage appraisal cycles, reporting, and ensure proper evaluations

Communication

  • Participate in meetings, follow up on employee concerns, and provide feedback

Employee Relations

  • Support disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Address employee issues and promote engagement initiatives

Welfare & Wellbeing

  • Coordinate employee welfare programs and activities
  • Ensure proper onboarding documentation and follow-ups

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with PPE and safety policies
  • Support induction and ongoing safety training
