Our client based in Rwanda is looking for an HR Officer!
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support manpower planning with HODs and define job profiles
- Manage recruitment process: advertising, screening, interviews, and selection
- Handle onboarding: offers, contracts, documentation, system access, and induction
- Monitor probation and confirmation processes
HR Systems & Administration
- Maintain HRIS and ensure accurate employee data
- Manage timekeeping, attendance, and leave records
- Support employees on HR systems (URSULA, HCM) and policies
Payroll & Benefits
- Assist in payroll processing and resolve discrepancies
- Support benefits administration and employee queries
HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Contribute to HR strategy and reporting (e.g., Eclosia Way Report)
- Keep HR protocols and procedures up to date
Performance Management (PMS)
- Support PMS implementation and training
- Manage appraisal cycles, reporting, and ensure proper evaluations
Communication
- Participate in meetings, follow up on employee concerns, and provide feedback
Employee Relations
- Support disciplinary and grievance processes
- Address employee issues and promote engagement initiatives
Welfare & Wellbeing
- Coordinate employee welfare programs and activities
- Ensure proper onboarding documentation and follow-ups
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with PPE and safety policies
- Support induction and ongoing safety training
