IT Support Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of all technology infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-line technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution of IT-related queries.
- Support the implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support activities.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications.
Minimum Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting, system installations, and user support.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic cybersecurity principles is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
