Role Overview

The Truck Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales division focused on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong business acumen, proven sales expertise, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic market expansion, customer relationship management, and team leadership. The Truck Sales Manager will oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiations to closing deals and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the truck sales team to deliver high performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share in the trucking and logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, construction firms, and government agencies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and financing options with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with service and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in truck or heavy equipment sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, logistics, and fleet management.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.
