PRODUCTION MANAGER
Mining Industry – Metalliferous Operations
A growing mining operation in Zimbabwe’s metals sector is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a producing mine in Mberengwa.
This is a key leadership role within a newly structured operational team supporting a metals mining project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving production performance and operational excellence on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities at a working mine site
- Manage and coordinate production teams to achieve output targets
- Ensure consistent delivery of tonnage and grade performance
- Implement and maintain efficient mining operations and systems
- Work closely with senior leadership to build and develop site capability
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Mining Engineering (or related field)
- 10–15 years’ experience in operational mining environments
- Proven track record managing production teams in a mine setting
- Demonstrated ability to achieve tonnage and grade targets
- Statutory mine management credentials required
- Strong leadership, planning, and operational execution skills
