Our client in Zambezia is looking for a Silos Assembly and Maintenance Engineer to join their team within the FMCG Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute the assembly and installation of industriais silos used for oil storage and processing.
- Perform disassembly, relocation, or replacement of silo structures when required.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure structural integrity, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in silo systems, including feeding, discharge, and support mechanisms.
- Follow engineering drawings, technical manuals, and safety procedures during all installation and maintenance activities.
- Maintain detailed maintenance and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support shutdowns and emergency maintenance operations when required.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in industrial equipment installation, preferably in oil, gas, or manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, structural steelwork, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with safety standards in industrial environments.
