Office Manager
Our client, a leading premium fuel company operating in Zimbabwe, is seeking a highly capable and proactive Office Manager to ensure the seamless operation of their corporate office. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing administrative functions while supporting executive leadership in a high-performance environment. The successful candidate will uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily office operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate administrative staff, fostering a productive and professional office culture.
- Act as the primary point of contact between senior management, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and optimize office systems, including document management, filing, and archiving.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, schedules, meetings, and events for senior management.
- Manage office procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Support budgeting, financial administration, and monitoring of office expenditures.
- Ensure workplace safety, compliance with statutory regulations, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of office policies and standard operating procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience (10+ years) as an Office Manager or in a senior administrative role, preferably in the energy, fuel, or corporate services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising office staff.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, office management software, and digital collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Zimbabwean regulatory requirements and office compliance standards is preferred.
