Junior Geologist – Mining Sector (Zimbabwe)
Our client in the mining sector is seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Junior Geologist to join their technical team. The successful candidate will support geological mapping, sampling, data analysis, and reporting activities to ensure effective exploration and mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with geological mapping, logging, sampling, and interpretation.
• Maintain accurate geological records, databases, and reports.
• Support exploration, grade control, and resource evaluation activities.
• Work closely with senior geologists to improve ore body knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Geology or a related discipline (essential).
• Minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in a mining or exploration environment.
• Experience in gold mining operations will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and teamwork skills.
