Chief Executive Officer
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
We are recruiting a Chief Executive Officer for a Harare-based manufacturing business.
The CEO will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the business, driving growth, and ensuring strong commercial and operational performance. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, the ability to grow revenue, and experience managing relationships with both clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the business
- Drive sales, marketing and revenue growth initiatives
- Expand the company’s market presence and business footprint
- Lead commercial negotiations with key clients and suppliers
- Oversee overall business performance, including financial results
- Build, lead and motivate the management team
- Identify opportunities for innovation, improvement and growth
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior executive or leadership role
- Strong business acumen with exposure to sales and marketing
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to scale and grow a business in a competitive environment
- Strategic, innovative and results-driven mindset
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
