Managing Director
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
We are recruiting a Managing Director for a well-established Harare-based manufacturing company.
The role is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction to the business, with a strong focus on factory operations, team management and business growth. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure efficient production processes, and drive performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the factory and business
- Oversee production efficiency, quality standards, and delivery timelines
- Manage and develop teams across operations and support functions
- Drive business growth through effective planning and execution
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and operational costs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven senior management experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Strong operational and leadership skills
- Engineering or technical background would be an advantage
- Commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability
- Hands-on, results-driven management style
