Our client, an innovative player in the real estate industry, is recruiting for a Diaspora Sales Associate for its Kenya operations. The Diaspora Sales Associate will be responsible for proactively contacting potential customers to promote the organization’s products and services, with the goal of generating and converting leads. The Associate will reach out to potential clients in the diaspora, promoting the organization’s residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role is integral to driving customer engagement and supporting the commercial team’s efforts through tele sales strategies and database management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Research and build a database of commercial, industrial, and bulk residential leads by identifying and engaging key decision-makers.
  • Customer Outreach: Make outbound calls tailored to clients in international markets such as the USA, Australia, the UK, Canada, and other regions to introduce company products, set up meetings, and schedule site tours for the commercial team. Aligning working hours to correspond with target markets’ time zones while maintaining flexibility for remote work arrangements.
  • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of customer contact details, calls, and sales activities within the customer relationship management system.
  • Sales Pitch Development: Develop and customize persuasive sales scripts to effectively communicate the company’s offerings.
  • Lead Conversion: Guide prospects and leads through the sales funnel, directing qualified leads to the commercial sales team for closure.
  • Follow-Up Communication: Follow up with customers after initial contact to maintain engagement and address queries from potential customers generated through advertisements.
  • Strategy Implementation: Lead tele sales strategies and optimize CRM database usage to improve lead conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: – Collaborating with the sales team to achieve diaspora-specific sales targets. Building strong client relationships through effective communication and follow up.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tele sales or lead generation
  • Proven track record in database development and management
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone.
  • Demonstrated success in converting cold calls to qualified leads
  • Experience in real estate or property development sector preferred
  • History of achieving sales targets and KPIs preferably over the phone
  • Background in managing customer relationships and follow-up processes
  • Experience with sales pipeline management, prospecting and lead generation capabilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on persuasive communication
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems and database management
  • Excellent research and data analysis skills
  • Professional telephone etiquette and cold calling expertise
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with sales analytics and reporting
  • Flexibility to work special hours in line with the time zones of our target markets.
  • Experience with international clientele.
  • Multilingual ability is an added advantage
