Our client in Maputo is looking for a Team Coordinator to join their team for a Job vacancy within the consulting sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and prioritization of investment subprojects.
- Oversee feasibility studies and detailed designs.
- Provide support in acquisitions to the Implementing Agencies (GREPOC, FIPAG, AIAS).
- Manage and coordinate the TA team in Phases I (Preparation & Design) and II (Implementation).
- Supervise TA personnel involved in construction contract management and inspection consultancy.
- Interact with the Contracting Authority, EU Delegations, Promoter and Enforcement Agencies.
- Ensure timely reporting to stakeholders; monitor and evaluate the results of the project.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the TA team.
- Ensure effective collaboration with Mozambican institutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related area; professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in preparation and implementation of infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams; experience with international financial institutions (EIB, World Bank, EU).
- Familiarity with Mozambican institutional and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, mastery of monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
- Ability to synthesize technical, financial and legal information into actionable strategies.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
