Our client, a major player in the horticulture and floriculture industry is recruiting for a Crop Protection Manager. This will be an in-field role in vegetable crop production across their largest Farm site – a contact agent between workers and the production management. The person in this role will be an enforcer, a follow-up agent to ensure programs are run accordingly, a standard operating procedure (SOP) executer. To coordinate all sprays, IPM and fields trials operations in the farm. Previous experience in crop protection and spraying is a must.

Responsibilities
- Crop protection/IPM
- Management of spraying activities
- Handling of crop protection products
- Staff management
- Maintenance of spray machinery and equipment
- Health and safety
- Record Keeping
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor, manager, or senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in horticulture, agriculture, floriculture, or something similar
- Previous experience in crop protection is a must
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Previous management skills.
