Sales Agronomist – Harare
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Agronomist to join their team in Harare. This field-based role involves extensive travel and is critical in driving fertilizer sales, providing agronomic advice, and building strong relationships with farmers and key stakeholders across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize market share.
• Provide expert agronomic advice to clients on crop management and fertilizer application.
• Identify and engage with potential clients, strengthening relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient product supply and customer satisfaction.
• Drive initiatives to promote best practices in fertilizer use and crop production.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Sales Agronomist with strong knowledge of fertilizers and crop nutrition.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
• Willingness to travel extensively across regions as required.
