General Manager: Sales & Distribution
Location: Harare
Our client in the FMCG Distribution sector is looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial leader to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute long-term business strategies.
- Drive customer service excellence and operational performance.
- Manage sales, distribution, and cross-functional teams.
- Grow volumes across current product lines and introduce new products.
- Oversee facilities, infrastructure, and IT systems to support growth.
- Build value-added processing operations.
- Maintain brand equity and optimize pricing, stock, and waste control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and distribution management.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and financial acumen.
- Leadership of large teams with cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
