Description:
A leading international contract mining and earthmoving company is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their maintenance team and support a large open-pit mining fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment (Komatsu, Caterpillar, Liebherr, and Epiroc models).
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on engines, hydraulics, and drivetrains.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with OEM standards, safety regulations, and site procedures.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on large open-pit mining equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance systems.
• Strong safety awareness and reliability.
• Willingness to work in a remote site rotation environment.
