Our client in Kenya in the agriculture/floriculture industry is looking for a Farm Manager – Greenhouses to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of greenhouse operations, including crop production, staff management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with agricultural best practices. This role ensures efficient, sustainable, and profitable greenhouse farming while maintaining high-quality yields. The ideal candidate will have strong horticultural knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in controlled-environment agriculture.

Qualifications 

• Education: Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 10+ years in greenhouse management or commercial crop production.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in greenhouse climate control systems
• Knowledge of hydroponics, aquaponics, or vertical farming (if applicable).
• Familiarity with farm management software
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying temperatures, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
