Role Overview:
A well-established player in the ceramics manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead its commercial operations in Zambia. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep industry experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving growth in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and accountability
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings and marketing initiatives with sales goals
  • Generate detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction across all touchpoints

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales management within the ceramics, tiles, or building materials industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to be based in Lusaka and travel as needed
