POSITION: PROCESSING OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

Our client, a mining setup that specializes in ore processing is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Executive (Operations Manager / Chief Operating Officer) to join its leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across the gold processing value chain.

  • Oversee plant operations, gold milling processes (including stamp mills), and production efficiency.

  • Manage and optimize supply chain operations, with a strong focus on logistics, transportation, and distribution.

  • Manage and maintain processing equipment including mobile equipment and fixed plant machinery.
  • Ensure effective utilization, maintenance, and management of both mobile and fixed plant equipment.

  • Drive continuous improvement in production processes, cost efficiency, and output quality.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and mentor operational teams, ensuring a culture of accountability and high performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Metallurgy, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in gold processing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and transportation within the mining or mineral processing sector.

  • Strong knowledge of gold milling processes (including stamp mills) and plant operations.

  • Demonstrated experience managing mobile and fixed plant equipment.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
