An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Artisanal Production Manager role based in Zimbabwe. This is a senior position responsible for overseeing artisanal gold mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable production. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in gold mining and artisanal production management.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

• Overseeing artisanal gold production activities and ensuring compliance with production targets.
• Implementing and monitoring safety, environmental, and quality control measures.
• Training, supervising, and managing artisanal mining teams to optimize performance.
• Ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical mining practices.
• Developing strategies to maximize production while maintaining sustainability.
• Monitoring and reporting on production data, costs, and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

 

• A relevant mining, metallurgy, or engineering qualification
• Proven experience in artisanal gold production management.
• Strong knowledge of gold processing techniques and artisanal mining methods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse mining teams.
• Solid understanding of mining safety, environmental, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
