The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage plant budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with supply chain and sales objectives.
• Drive innovation in production processes, incorporating best practices and technological advancements.
• Maintain robust reporting systems to monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in plant management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive experience in the poultry, food processing, or agriculture industries.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
