Our client in Beira/Nampula is looking for Warehouse in Charge to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the warehousing and storage of local commodities and any other products required time to time.
- Inspect the goods for damage and discrepancies, report those to supervisor and accounts
- Maintain the warehouse record, goods receipt note, transfer note for transfer of stock from one warehouse to another warehouse.
- Perform other stock -related duties like re-bagging, time to time fumigation etc.
- Ensure the warehouse is in good condition and there is no leakage, adequate security guard and CCTV Camera etc. are in place.
- Supervise processing of all receiving reports on all shipments received through the warehouse.
- Supervise the cleaning of the warehouse including waste disposal of packaging materials.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
- Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management (computer knowledge).
