Our client in Nampula and Beira is looking for Head Chef and Pastry Chef to join their team for a job vacancy within the Food & Beverage Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise food preparation and menus.

  • Lead and coordinate the kitchen team (cooks, assistants, kitchen helpers).

  • Ensure high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.

  • Prepare and decorate desserts, cakes, tarts, croissants, breads, and other baked goods.

  • Create new and innovative pastry recipes in line with trends and customer preferences.

  • Manage pastry inventory and request ingredients when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or professional pastry.

  • Certification or training in Baking or Cooking or related areas.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of modern pastry and baking techniques.
