Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee a high-volume retail operation based in Beitbridge. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a commercially minded operator with a strong background in retail or hospitality management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day store operations, staff performance, merchandising, and compliance
- Driving sales, executing pricing strategies, and maximizing profitability
- Leading a multidisciplinary team across retail, warehouse, restaurant, and security functions
- Managing budgets, reporting, shrinkage control, and financial performance
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and in-store experience
- Collaborating with customs and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance
- Supporting marketing campaigns and store-level promotional activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in retail or hospitality, with at least 3 years in senior leadership
- Proven experience managing high-volume operations (border, airport, or cross-border retail is an advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and regulatory awareness
- Willingness to be based full-time at Beitbridge
