Inventory Quality Technician

Our client in Beira is looking for Inventory Quality Technician to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory analyses of raw materials upon receipt and whenever technically necessary, in accordance with specifications.
• Verify packaging quality and product weight.
• Analyze customer complaints.
• Ensure proper application of test methods defined for each type of goods.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain proper documentation of product quality processes and ensure product traceability.
• Retain sample references for all products.
• Ensure good storage practices and promote FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards, environmental practices, and waste management procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with cashew processing companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory sciences, Chemistry, Processing Engineering, or an equivalent field, with proven experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory work or a similar role.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferably: Word, Excel, and Outlook
