Our client in Pemba is looking for Equipment Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Mining Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the equipment fleet and ensure optimal availability and functionality.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all machinery and equipment.

  • Supervise equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

  • Coordinate repairs, servicing, and calibration of equipment either internally or with external vendors.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, service history, and costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing equipment in a mining, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record in equipment procurement, maintenance, and inventory control.

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery and mechanical systems.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in equipment management software.
