Role Overview:
We are seeking a mature, articulate, and ambitious individual to join our trading team as a Junior Trader focused on physical refined petroleum products (ex-tank). This is a client-facing, high-mobility role that involves regular travel and direct interaction with buyers, suppliers, and terminal partners.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute trades of refined petroleum products (diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, etc.) on an ex-tank basis.
Travel regularly to meet clients, visit terminals, and manage deals on the ground.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with counterparties — including distributors, end-users, and storage providers.
Monitor local market movements, gather intelligence, and identify trading opportunities.
Collaborate closely with senior traders to structure deals and manage risk.
Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure flawless execution of trades.
Maintain high standards of professionalism in all external communications and negotiations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Mature and well-spoken, with a strong sense of accountability and commercial instinct.
Comfortable with frequent travel and direct customer engagement.
Eager to learn trading fundamentals, pricing, and deal structuring.
2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or other client-facing roles is an advantage.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively
