Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Head to lead our operations in Zimbabwe. This senior leadership role will oversee all aspects of business performance, including sales, service, dealer network management, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the automotive sector, particularly in two-wheeler and three-wheeler dealerships with strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share, drive revenue, and ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Expand the dealer network by identifying and executing new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of trends, customer needs, and competitors.
  • Achieve and exceed targets for vehicle sales (2W/3W), service revenue, and customer acquisition.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns and customer retention strategies to foster repeat business.
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and operational standards across all dealerships.
  • Build strong relationships with dealers; provide coaching, training, and operational support.
  • Establish and monitor performance KPIs focused on sales, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee national operations including sales, after-sales service, and spare parts.
  • Enhance customer experience across all touchpoints with high standards of service delivery.
  • Manage country-level P&L, budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Optimize inventory planning, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on revenue forecasting, expense monitoring, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead and mentor regional and dealership teams to drive a culture of high performance.
  • Roll out training and development programs to enhance team efficiency and knowledge.
  • Foster a work environment built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in the automotive or two-wheeler/three-wheeler industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in sales growth, dealership management, and business operations.
  • Strong P&L and financial management capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, digital sales platforms, and customer engagement best practices.
