Farm Manager – Shamva
Our client is seeking a dedicated Farm Manager to lead operations at their farm in Shamva.
As Farm Manager, you will play a pivotal role managing labour, crops, assets, and administration to ensure the farm runs efficiently and productively. You will lead the senior staff team, acting as the crucial link between the farm and company directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Labour Management: Optimize labour costs, lead senior staff, maintain legal compliance, and keep accurate labour records.
- Crop Management: Oversee planting, fertilization, chemical spraying, scouting, irrigation, and harvesting to prioritize crop health.
- Asset Management: Ensure equipment upkeep, preventative maintenance, and proper handling of tools and machinery.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of stocks, labour, and farm activities; provide daily updates to directors.
- General Farm Duties: Keep farm areas tidy, maintain roads, and proactively manage any farm needs.
