Our client in Maputo, is looking for an HR & Admin Supervisor to join their team for a job vacancy within the Retail Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for store-level and admin roles, reducing time-to-hire through structured screening and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate payroll and attendance systems, ensuring the complete compliance with payment deadlines and labour law requirements.
  • Handle employee relations and disciplinary processes, maintaining a fair, inclusive work environment and improving team retention.
  • Supervise general administrative functions, including inventory of office supplies and vendor coordination, ensuring uninterrupted store operations.
  • Manage HR documentation and compliance, keeping accurate records aligned with legal standards and internal audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in HR and administration, preferably in the retail/supermarket industry.
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English languages, spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
  • Previous HR & Admin experience in a supermarket or retail chain environment.
