Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Cybersecurity to lead our security strategy across products, cloud infrastructure, manufacturing systems, and customer data. This role demands deep expertise in IoT and telematics security, AWS cloud security, Factory 4.0, and data privacy, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement the company-wide cybersecurity roadmap.
  • Build and lead a high-performing security team.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to embed security into the development lifecycle

Product & IoT Security

  • Secure connected 2-wheeler platforms, including telematics, mobile apps, and embedded systems.
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for IoT devices.

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

  • Oversee security of AWS infrastructure, including IAM, VPC, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.

Factory 4.0 & OT Security

  • Design and enforce security controls for smart manufacturing systems and industrial IoT.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for operational technology (OT) environments.

Data Privacy & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP).
  • Define and enforce data governance and protection policies.

Incident Response & Risk Management

  • Establish incident response protocols and lead investigations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10–12 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty
  • CEH, OSCP, or similar offensive security certifications
