An established security services company with a national footprint is seeking to appoint a highly experienced and strategic Managing Director to lead and grow its South African operations. The successful candidate will be a seasoned executive with deep knowledge of the security industry, strong commercial acumen, and a track record of leading diverse teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the business.
  2. Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
  3. Ensure effective and compliant operational delivery across all client sites.
  4. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  5. Take full responsibility for the financial performance and profitability of the business.
  6. Lead and motivate a senior management team to drive operational excellence.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including PSIRA.
  8. Represent the company confidently in public forums and client presentations.
  9. Identify risks and ensure adequate mitigation strategies are in place.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Business, Management, Criminology, or related field).
  2. Minimum 10 years of executive-level experience (GM or MD level) in the security industry.
  3. PSIRA registration (Grade A).
  4. No criminal record.
