Our client in Harare is looking for a Head Site Administrator to join their team for a job vacancy within the Construction Industry.
Our client, a leading construction company in the Roads and Earthworks sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head Site Administrator to join their dynamic project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all site administrative functions, ensuring effective documentation, stock control, labour tracking, plant and equipment utilization, fuel usage, and cost reporting.
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily diaries and cost tracking.
- Oversee site orders, material deliveries, and stock control, including monthly stock takes.
- Monitor and report on labour availability, absenteeism, and manhour allocations.
- Ensure correct plant and equipment documentation, returns, costing, and utilization reporting.
- Track fuel issues, deliveries, and variances from allowable consumption.
- Produce accurate and timely cost reports with proper verification and documentation.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary level qualification
- At least 7 years of experience in a Site Manager role
- Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Sound knowledge of cost control, labour monitoring, and material management.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining clear records and preparing audit-ready documentation.
