Our client in Pemba is looking for Senior Geologist to join their team for a job vacancy within the Exploration mining Department.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure safe execution of exploration activities (geological mapping, sampling, drilling, XRF analysis).
- Perform geological logging, sampling, and photography of drilled boreholes.
- Prepare geological maps, sections, and interpretations.
- Maintain hard copies of logging sheets and digital copies of core photographs for database updates.
- Monitor the exploration process plant and weighbridge operations to ensure safe and smooth functioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’ s degree in Geology or equivalent degree/ course, with relevant work experience.
- Required experience + 10 years of experience in supervising and executing exploration activities.
- Experience with GIS software and resource modelling tools such as Surpac and Leapfrog is required.
- Familiarity with the Deposit geological database is also beneficial.
