The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Lead and contribute to R&D initiatives focused on improving product efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design mechanical systems and equipment tailored to agricultural or industrial applications.
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and iteration of engineering solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams in construction, fabrication, and operations to ensure successful implementation of engineered solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in engineering design, R&D, or implementation within an industrial, agricultural, or construction environment.
  • Strong proficiency in engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with product development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
