Our client in Madagascar is looking for a Production Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Manufacturing industry.

Professional experience :
- At least 5 years of experience managing production operations, ideally in the tobacco industry or a related sector.
- Hands-on experience supervising automated production lines, including managing work teams and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to adapt to a different cultural and professional environment, particularly in Africa.
Technical skills :
- In-depth knowledge of machines and equipment used in cigarette manufacturing, including automated machines, confectioners and packaging lines.
- Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, as well as diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently.
- Understanding of quality standards and good manufacturing practices specific to the tobacco industry.
Management skills:
- Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a production team, and ensure effective communication between different departments.
- Ability to plan and organize production activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Problem-solving skills to handle emergency situations and find effective solutions in a timely manner.
Training:
- University degree in engineering, production management or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in industrial maintenance or operations management is an asset.
LANGUAGES :
- Fluency in French and English, oral and written.
