Our client in Harare is looking for a well-spoken and analytical Van Sales Representative to join their

team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Merchandising industry.

 

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Drive sales and meeting set targets.
  • Attend to all aspects of the trade for all customers.
  • Generating and processing orders.
  • Mediating relationship between the company and the customers.
  • Perform market intelligence analysis.
  • Perform sales calls.
  • Achieve volumes and value targets through the sales, at specified prices, to the general trade outlets in the sales territory.
  • Sell stocks for cash except for approved customers.
  • Cash handling to be in line with Van Sales SOP.
  • Reconcile weekly paperwork, which can include money and invoices, turn in records in order to ensure accurate financial tracking of delivery activities and accountability of stocks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners and shop keepers.
  • Religiously follow approved daily route plan and complete all relevant paperwork daily.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum requirement: Degree in Sales & Marketing or related field.
  • 3 years sales experience in an FMCG environment with Van sales experience.
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • CIean class 4 Driver’s License
