Our client, a leading construction company with over 25 years of experience in designing and building villas and apartments, is looking for a Construction Manager to join them.
OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with different stakeholders to guarantee the projects run smoothly. Your main duties will involve budgeting, organizing, implementing, and scheduling these projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Conduct thorough project reviews to create schedules and estimate expenses
- Monitor all construction activities, both on-site and off-site, to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Manage and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors
- Choose appropriate tools, materials, and equipment, and maintain inventory records
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Monitor daily progress and prepare reports on project status
- Anticipate and address potential issues, and resolve emerging problems
- Negotiate agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Uphold quality construction standards and employ proper construction methods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) in construction management building villas / apartments.
- Proficient in construction management techniques, processes, and methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and applicable regulations and standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the construction lifecycle.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Ability to strategize and envision the overall project scope.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent time management and project coordination skills.
