Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing professional to join our team. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our brand, drive sales, and enhance customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker understanding of the retail industry will be an added advantage and proven experience in executing successful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends in the retail hardware industry.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing initiatives that support product & service launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Create and manage marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, signage, and advertising materials.
• Oversee the company’s online presence, including website content, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, media partners, and advertising agencies to support marketing initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior marketing staff, providing support, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, marketing budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, vet, and manage influencer relationships.
• Coordinate impactful social responsibility campaigns in line with company social responsibility policy.
• Forge strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate CSR & PR events.
• Create internal communication material

Qualifications and Experience
•  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
•  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the retail or consumer goods industry.
•  Must be a Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing.
•  Proven track record of successfully executing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive sales and increase brand awareness.
•  Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and or similar platforms.
•  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects       simultaneously.
•  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
•  Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
•  Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in  marketing and advertising.
•  Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals.
