DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST NEEDED:

We are recruiting.

Our client in Harare is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team for a job vacancy. He/she will be responsible for website design and development, develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns promoting the organization’s products and services. The candidate will majorly enhance brand awareness, drive web traffic, and acquire leads/customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
  • Excellent design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop)
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of success
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing principles
  • Experience with paid advertising platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media platforms including LinkedIn, search engines, and display advertising.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to produce engaging content and optimize user experience.
  • Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, insights, and technologies.
  • Allocate marketing investments.
  • Manage an organization’s website and maintain it, keeping best practices in mind.
  • Optimize content for the website and social media platforms.
  • Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc.
  • Track the website traffic flow.
  • Implement and analyse performance metrics.
  • Measure and assess goals vis-à-vis ROI.
  • Device experiments and conversion tests
  • Provide internal reports on a regular basis.
  • Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms.

 

Qualifications:

Degree in marketing, communications, or related field

Certificate in digital marketing

Certificate in website development/optimization

At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing

Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and display advertising

Proficient in marketing automation tools

Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

Strong project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent I.T skills
