Overview
Our client within the construction industry in Zimbabwe is looking for a candidate from a Civils or Structural or Quantity Surveying background with experience in building residential properties to join their team. He or she must have experience dealing with subcontractors and large work forces.
Responsibilities
- manage contracts in Harare from planning to completion.
- have a solid understanding of building project management.
- have good all-round technical knowledge of general trades and labour.
- be proficient in managing budgets and controlling costs.
- be able to use MS Project or Candy
- have experience of leading and managing large workforces and 3rd party contractors
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in civil or structural engineering or quantity surveying.
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience in construction project management – preference will be given to candidates who have experience in developing residential properties.
- Relocate to Harare, Zimbabwe for a minimum of a one-year contract.
