Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of designated local & imported goods for allocated departments & Central Stores
- Responsible for procuring local designated goods as direct purchases for allocated departments.
- Responsible for procuring goods for Central Stores
- Receives approved proformas & respective requisition for import goods from Departments.
- Assists with supplier relationship management.
Qualifications and Competences
- A degree in Purchasing & Supply /CIPS or relevant qualification.
- Experience in managing internal company fleet, forklifts, and a workshop is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of purchasing within poultry environment.
- Accomplished communication skills with experience discussing finances, budgets, and costs.
- Proven history of successful supplier negotiation.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to effectively lead a team.
