Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Promoting the company’s existing brands
  • To meet monthly/quarterly and yearly set targets
  • Sales of commercial projects (Hardware and Fibre Projects)
  • Sell fibre solutions to the existing and new customers
  • Seeking out new opportunities constantly within established and non-established regions
  • Coordinating with team members and supervise their operations
  • Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans scheduling expenditures and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Implementing new sales plans
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing sales teams to meet sales and human resources objectives
  • Maintaining relationships with key clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks
  • Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity follow up, closings, prospective list, and service review meetings.
  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and customer contracts
  • Coordinating with relevant departmental staff (projects, technical, finance, procurement etc) to achieve the work required in closing a sale.
  • Departmental Strategy Formulation and execution
  • Departmental processes, procedures, and control formulation
  • Reseller/Channel build

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-to-10-year experience in Telecom Sector
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or IT.
  • At least 3 years managing a sales team.
  • Experience selling software, cloud services, or IT solutions to corporate clients.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
