Client Description – Our client is leading distributor and physical trader of petroleum products
across East and Central Africa.
Role description – The Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and oversee marketing
strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue
growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy sector and its market dynamics,
ensuring that marketing efforts align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and
competitive landscape. - Identify opportunities for product/service differentiation in the oil and gas sector.
- Oversee brand positioning, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and vision.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and platforms.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted campaigns to drive lead generation and
client retention. - Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Manage the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media, and
SEO strategies. - Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry bodies, and
partners. - Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Track ROI on marketing initiatives and recommend adjustments for continuous
improvement.Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally.
