Client Description – Our client is leading distributor and physical trader of petroleum products
across East and Central Africa.

Role description – The Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and oversee marketing
strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue
growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy sector and its market dynamics,
ensuring that marketing efforts align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and
    competitive landscape.
  • Identify opportunities for product/service differentiation in the oil and gas sector.
  • Oversee brand positioning, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and vision.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and platforms.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted campaigns to drive lead generation and
    client retention.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Manage the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media, and
    SEO strategies.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry bodies, and
    partners.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Track ROI on marketing initiatives and recommend adjustments for continuous
    improvement.

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
