Guide a products
\ncontribution to a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability
\nof existing products to developing new products or features for the company.
\nDetermine and manage the roadmap of a technical product. Maintain a wish list
\nand backlog of new features of the product for development prioritisation.
\nExpand commercial software product portfolio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nEffective Product Lifecycle management<\/b>
\n\u2022 Managing the entire product line and life cycle from strategic planning to
\ntactical activities
\n\u2022 Research and define market requirements for current and future products by
\nconducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and
\nnon-customers
\n\u2022 Driving a solution through market requirements, product contract, and
\npositioning
\n\u2022 Developing and implementing a go-to-market plan, working with all departments
\nto execute this plan
\n\u2022 Packaging the features into product releases
\n\u2022 Developing strategies to meet customer demands
\n\u2022 Manage the product roadmap & Lifecycle<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Effective
\nPre-Sales<\/span><\/b>
\n\u2022 Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre sales process with
\ndirect and channel customers
\n\u2022 Articulate the company\u2019s technology and product portfolio, positioning to
\nboth business and technical users
\n\u2022 Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
\n\u2022 Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and
\nexternally
\n\u2022 Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners
\nand internal
\n\u2022 Stakeholders<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nEffective stakeholder engagement<\/b>
\n\u2022 Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external
\nstakeholders
\n\u2022 Close interaction with development leads, product architects, and key
\ncustomers
\n\u2022 Inter departmental collaboration
\n\u2022 Interface with the development team, articulating customer requirement, to
\nensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nQualifications:<\/span><\/b> Information
\ntechnology and\/or sales and marketing degree
\nMinimum Experience:<\/b> 6-8 years of software marketing\/product management
\nexperience, Knowledgeable in technology
\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:<\/b> Possess a unique blend of business
\nand technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a
\nreality
\nEnjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative
\nsolutions for the broader market
