1. Capsule description of Job Purpose<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Responsible for attending to allocated electrical installation, maintenance &<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
repairs to ensure Production Targets and standards are met<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
1. Key Result Areas<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Key Result Area 1: Responsible for the electrical maintenance & repair of the<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
PP & machinery as per SHEQ and Production KPIs & SOPs<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Major Activities required in achieving desired output:<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
1. Ensures all equipment is safe to use at all times<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
2. Conducts pre-operational checks and adjust equipment to produce<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
optimally at all time<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
3. Assesses all maintenance and repair work, escalates and seeks approval<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
where there is impact on safety and production<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
4. Attends daily Maintenance safety talks<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
5. Performs all maintenance jobs based on Daily Maintenance Checklist and<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
allocated areas<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
6. Receives Job Cards from Superior, assesses job and fills Requisition Form<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
accordingly and hands over to PP Stores Clerk<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
7. Completes job and commissions equipment to ensure good working order<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
8. Fills in Job Card, Declaration of Conformity and Tools & Parts<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Reconciliation Form after completion of job and hands over to Superior<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
9. Fixes any electrical faults when requested by PP Supervisors or reports to<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Superior if unable to fix<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
10. Reports any identified electrical fault to Superior immediately<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
11. Liaises with PP Stores Clerk and assists with electrical spares &<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
consumables specifications for ordering<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
12. Checks quality, quantity & specs of all received electrical goods<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
13. Conducts weekly test-run with PP generators<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
14. Conducts random checks weekly to ensure maintenance schedule & Bio-<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Security standards are adhered to<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
15. Repairs light fixtures as requested by Superior<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
16. Conducts inspections daily to ensures good housekeeping practice<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
17. Follows up & implements monthly maintenance checklist and reports any<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
faults with Superior<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
18. Takes part in duty roster & attends to repair jobs when required<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
19. Attends to any other duties as requested by Superior<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

Key Result Area 2: Responsible for the installation of designated new<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Processing Plant (PP) equipment & machinery<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
Major Activities required in achieving desired output:<\/div>\n
1. Receives instruction to install new electrical equipment from Superior and<\/div>\n
quantifies materials & workforce needed<\/div>\n
2. Raises a Requisition Form with PP Stores Clerk after approval from<\/div>\n
Superior<\/div>\n
3. Follows up on requisition with Stores Clerk to ensure deadlines are met<\/div>\n
4. Checks quantities, quality & specs of received materials, fills in<\/div>\n
Requisition Form, hands over to Superior for signature then draws<\/div>\n
materials needed<\/div>\n
5. Completes installation within set deadlines & commissions to ensure<\/div>\n
good working order<\/div>\n
6. Assists 3rd party contractors when needed<\/div>\n
7. Assists Superior with all trouble-shooting issues when requested<\/div>\n
Extent of Discretion; Incumbent; PP Maintenance Supervisor approves<\/div>\n

Key Result Area 2: Responsible for supervising the PP Electrical team<\/div>\n
Major Activities required in achieving desired output:<\/div>\n
1. Ensures that the Generator Logbook is filled in weekly & that the Lights<\/div>\n
Inspection Checklist is filled in monthly<\/div>\n
2. Trains team members on proper work methods, safety procedures and<\/div>\n
scope of authority & responsibility based on qualification & skill level<\/div>\n
3. Communicates leave and overtime for the team with Superior<\/div>\n
4. Mentors direct subordinates<\/div>\n
5. Administers discipline through verbal warnings and reports any<\/div>\n
disciplinary issue to Superior<\/div>\n
6. Trains team in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair<\/div>\n
7. Participates in job descriptions reviews & updates when needed<\/div>\n
8. Performance manages team members as per company performance<\/div>\n
management reviews<\/div>\n
9. Conducts safety talks with team every morning<\/div>\n
10. Ensures that the electrical team adheres to all SHE, QA, FSSC, GMPs,<\/div>\n
GHPs & SOPs at all times<\/div>\n
