Job Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Design Engineer<\/strong> with expertise in proposal creation,<\/strong> procurement and supply chain management<\/strong> to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, optimisation, and technical documentation of solar PV systems<\/strong>, while also managing the sourcing, procurement, and logistics of equipment and materials to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Lead the design and engineering<\/strong> of solar PV systems, including system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare detailed design documentation using software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Helioscope.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, NEC) and local regulatory frameworks.<\/li>\n
  • Manage procurement processes: sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality standards.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee supply chain operations, including inventory management, logistics, and timely delivery of equipment.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with project managers, installation teams, and clients to align technical and commercial requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.<\/li>\n
  • Support commissioning and troubleshooting of solar PV systems when required.<\/li>\n
  • Provide technical and procurement reports to management and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications & Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master\u2019s degree advantageous).<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> in solar PV system design and engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) and MS Office Suite.<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of solar PV technologies, inverters, batteries, and grid integration.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with international standards and local regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
