As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, expand market share, and build lasting customer relationships across key sectors. Someone\u00a0who combines strong business development experience with the ambition and capacity to grow into a senior management position over the coming years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement robust business development strategies to drive growth and increase<br \/>\nmarket share.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the management teams, both in-country and at headquarters, to align business<br \/>\ndevelopment strategies with the company overall objectives<\/li>\n<li>Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends,<br \/>\ncustomers, products, and services.<\/li>\n<li>Core market segments include Retail, Resellers, Light Vehicle Workshops, Transporter Fleets,<br \/>\nMining Workshops, Agricultural, Government tenders and Building\/Construction contractors<\/li>\n<li>Forge strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business partners to secure long-term<br \/>\nbusiness growth.<\/li>\n<li>Grow existing product ranges and oversee the introduction of new products and services within<br \/>\nthe scope of the company\u2019s core capabilities, ensuring they meet market needs and contribute<br \/>\nto revenue growth.<\/li>\n<li>Become familiar with the various workshop (electrical, diesel fuel injection, hydraulic, generator) disciplines in order to market these service capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and deliver regular reports on business growth, new business leads, and customer<br \/>\nfeedback.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and lead a team, setting objectives and monitoring performance to ensure continuous<br \/>\nimprovement and readiness for leadership roles.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Procurement and Finance function to ensure optimal stock levels, introduction<br \/>\nof new stock items and selection of new suppliers are managed efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Warehouse function to ensure stores layout and material flow is optimised, and<br \/>\nthat stocking of all branches in terms of range and stockholding is performed correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Internal Sales function and provide guidance and training in parts identification and application to improve customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record in business development, ideally in the automotive aftermarket, tools,<br \/>\nindustrial equipment, or power generation sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and<br \/>\nprofitability.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent higher qualification) in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience in similar role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Package &amp; Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relocation assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Furnished accommodation.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive medical insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Company vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Laptop and mobile phone.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary and performance-driven career growth opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":14,"featured_media":5342,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_application":"lthomas@priconsultants.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[250],"job-types":[114],"class_list":["post-10242","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job_listing_category-business-development","job_listing_type-available","job-type-available"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Business Development Manager - Copperbelt - PRI Vacancies<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.priconsultants.com\/vacancies\/job\/10242\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Business Development Manager - Copperbelt - PRI Vacancies\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Our client is a well-established and respected supplier of automotive, industrial, and power generation solutions with a strong presence across the region.
