{"id":10211,"date":"2026-06-08T08:56:29","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T06:56:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.priconsultants.com\/vacancies\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=10211"},"modified":"2026-06-08T08:56:29","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T06:56:29","slug":"sales-manager","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.priconsultants.com\/vacancies\/job\/10211","title":{"rendered":"Sales Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are recruiting!<\/p>\n<p>Our client in Lusaka, is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the IT industry.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, or for more information, follow the link below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sales Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting the company\u2019s existing brands<\/li>\n<li>To meet monthly\/quarterly and yearly set targets<\/li>\n<li>Sales of commercial projects (Hardware and Fibre Projects)<\/li>\n<li>Sell fibre solutions to the existing and new customers<\/li>\n<li>Seeking out new opportunities constantly within established and non-established regions<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with team members and supervise their operations<\/li>\n<li>Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans scheduling expenditures and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing new sales plans<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing sales teams to meet sales and human resources objectives<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining relationships with key clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional\u00a0networks<\/li>\n<li>Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity follow up, closings, prospective list, and service review meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing proposals, presentations, and customer contracts<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with relevant departmental staff (projects, technical, finance, procurement etc) to achieve the work required in closing a sale.<\/li>\n<li>Departmental Strategy Formulation and execution<\/li>\n<li>Departmental processes, procedures, and control formulation<\/li>\n<li>Reseller\/Channel build<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">5-to-10-year experience in Telecom Sector<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Must possess a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or IT.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">At least 3 years managing a sales team.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Experience selling software, cloud services, or IT solutions to corporate clients.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u201cAll candidates are required to obtain their ZAQA certification from the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":14,"featured_media":5342,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_application":"wsilwamba@priconsultants.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[119,126],"job-types":[114],"class_list":["post-10211","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job_listing_category-information-technology","job_listing_category-sales-marketing-pr-comms","job_listing_type-available","job-type-available"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Sales Manager - PRI Vacancies<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.priconsultants.com\/vacancies\/job\/10211\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Sales Manager - PRI Vacancies\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"We are recruiting!
