\u25aaCoordinate and supervise clearing team
\n\u25aaSupport Group company for any questions regarding Logistics and customs
\n\u25aaPreparation and review of financial information
\n\u25aaReview any issues raised by the DRC tax authorities
\n\u25aaEnsure timely monthly financial reporting
\n\u25aaEnsure strict adherence to Financial Group Procedures
\n\u25aaSupervise the finance team and ensure that financial procedures are strictly applied
\n\u25aaPrepare accurate and useful consolidated financial information for shareholders
\n\u25aaExplore investment opportunities through in-depth financial modelling and forecasting
\n\u25aaDevelop and evaluate profit plans for new business development
\n\u25aaIdentify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
\n\u25aaIdentify key risks within the group and prepare a risk profile matrix with proposed solutions to minimize exposure.
\n\u25aaCoordinate with other members of the Group’s finance team and work closely with the finance teams of individual companies to review financial information and forecasts.
\n\u25aaProvide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
\n\u25aaMake recommendations for process streamlining and continuous improvement and efficiency.
\n\u25aaEnsure preventive maintenance plan of fleets and equipment to reach minimum 90% availability.
\n\u25aaResponsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations.
\n\u25aaTake ownership of the balance sheet, P&L and all technical accounting duties
\n\u25aaReview monthly performances of clearing team
\n\u25aaReview any query raised by DRC tax authorities
\n\u25aaAnalyse monthly maintenance costs and job cards to identify any abnormal usage\/expenses.
\n\u25aaEnsure close follow up of company assets (maintenance, tracking, legal documentation) and propose repair plan for write off assets (e.g trailer,..)
\n\u25aaReview W\/S manpower organization to effectively manage the day to day operations, liaising with operations department on requirements.
\n\u25aaBusiness development: Identify new business development opportunities streams (equipment, clearing, handling,..)
\n\u25aaAnalyse current and past financial data and performance<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE
\n\u25aa10 years relevant experience ideally with Logistic mining and DRC exposure
\n\u25aaFluency in French end English an added advantage
\n\u25aaOrganised and processes driven
\n\u25aaSAP & SAGE ERP systems knowledge is a plus
\n\u25aaProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
\n\u25aaGood analytical and financial modelling skills
